Sarah Clune is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) who works as Financial Controller for Ørsted Onshore Ireland and the UK, where she brings together financial results across the business, reports on performance, and ensures statutory reporting requirements are met. Having worked in the renewable energy sector for six years, Sarah collaborates closely with engineering, project, and commercial teams to support the delivery of solar and onshore wind farms across Ireland and the UK. Her role shows how finance plays a vital part in STEM careers and in supporting real world solutions to climate and sustainability challenges, helping ensure strong financial governance as part of the transition to a more sustainable energy future. Outside of work, Sarah is a mum to two young boys, and life is a busy but a rewarding juggle. She enjoys switching off at the gym or going for a run.
