Asset Operations - Technical Services Senior Manager, Uisce Éireann,
Aphra Leavy is the Asset Operations Technical Services Senior Manager in Uisce Éireann (Irish Water). She is responsible for overseeing and managing the provision of technical services across Water and Wastewater operations nationally. Prior to taking up her current role, Aphra was the National Manager for the Water & Wastewater Process Optimisation Team within Uisce Éireann and held various Process Optimisation roles since joining Irish Water in 2014. Before joining Irish Water Aphra worked with Meath County Council for 10 years holding various compliance, enforcement and operations roles within the Environmental and Water Services Sections. Aphra holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering, an honours degree in Agricultural Science (Agribusiness), a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Protection and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Fun Fact : I recently went on a snowboarding holiday but switched to skiing halfway through the holiday and spent the next few days falling down the slopes.
