Jean O' Sullivan

Jean O’Sullivan joined the Senior Leadership Team at Bus Éireann in 2022 as Chief People Officer with responsibility for leading the people engagement and culture development within the business, as well as managing the company’s resourcing strategy in order to build an organisation of people with the right mix of skills, capabilities, talent and diversity to deliver Bus Éireann’s ambitious growth plans. Jean has an excellent track record in leading change and building capability and engagement across multiple industry sectors including financial services and the health service. She joined Bus Éireann from Enterprise Ireland, where she held key leadership roles spanning 23 years, most recently as Head of Organisation Development, Culture and Employee Engagement. In this role Jean led a series of major organisational change programs in addition to her responsibility for HR strategy and performance, leadership practise, talent recruitment and retention and female entrepreneurship. Prior to Enterprise Ireland, her experience included positions within Bank of Scotland and the Eastern Health Board. She graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from Edinburgh Napier University and holds a Masters in Human Resource Strategies from DCU.
