Mary is an asset manager of onshore renewables for Ørsted based in Cork. Mary did her undergraduate degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCC, followed by a MSc in Renewable Energy at Imperial College London. Mary has over ten years of experience working in the renewable energy industry. She worked as a technical renewable energy consultant based in Bristol for 5 years and gained chartership though the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. She then moved to Oxford and worked in energy markets consultancy until she returned to Cork in 2019. Since returning she has put both her technical and commercial skills to use in the Onshore Operations team at leading global renewable energy company Ørsted. Mary is passionate about creating a world that runs on green energy and is delighted to work for a company that aligns with her values.
