I have had an exciting colorful career journey this far. As a teenager I qualified as a hairdresser during my school years.
I went on to experience a really exciting time in the Travel Industry working for some of Irelands largest tour operators , then moving into The Airline Industry as a ticketing agent in the bustling Dublin Airport.
I then moved into a procurement role for a small to medium sized Technology company. This is where I first discovered Fiber Optics and Data Centers and I was fascinated. This began my quest to work in a Data Centre , so I worked in the background taking a number
courses and trainings on fibre optics and structured cabling. It took sometime to get my foot in the door after one or two set backs but I did not give up .
I joined AWS in April 2021 , and was the first female to join my team ( super proud of that one ) I have never looked back and grown from strength to strength.
I have recently joined a new team in AWS and my current role is Data Centre Commissioning Coordinator. This is new and exciting so lots to lean and develop on :)
